What is it?
Suicide Kings is a addon that makes the distribution of loot equal and fair. When you enter into the raid group, we ask you to do a “/roll 1000″ and that enters you into the loot list for the particular raid you are running. We have separate lists for each 25-man raid and you only have to roll to be put on the list once (The lists DO carry over to the next time!). The number you roll determines what position you are on the list. A 1000 is the best spot. So the higher number you roll, the higher you are on the list.
How bidding works…
When a piece of loot drops, the loot master will do a raid warning announcing that the bidding is currently open. If you want that item, all you need to do is whisper the loot master with the word “bid”. If you are highest on the list in comparison to everyone else who bid against you, you will win the piece (this is called a “suicide”), your spot on the list will be lost, and you move down to the very last spot. Bidding will remain open for a short while and will close after the loot master gives a 5 count countdown. If you need more time to consider an item, please whisper the loot master saying so and more time will be given. If you change your mind while the bidding is open, please whisper the word “retract” and your bid will be taken back and your spot on the list will be left unchanged.
Bids will only be accepted for the spec that you raid with. If we asked you respec for our raid, you are allowed to bid for the spec that you normally raid as. If you don’t know if a piece of loot is for your spec or not, please use the helpful table below to figure out what is yours and what is not.

If no one chooses to bid on a piece, the item will go to open rolls for off specs. So if you are a cloth wearing caster DPSer who decided to not bid on a cloth item with hit, the open rolls allow for cloth healers or leather wearing caster DPSers to roll. If no one wants to roll for off spec, we will finally just disenchant the item.
I won an item and I am at the bottom of the list… how do I move back up?
This is probably one of the more confusing things about running Suicide Kings. You move back up the list as people above you suicide. For example..

If Person B bids on an item and wins, the new list will look like…

If on the next piece of loot, Person D bids on an item and wins, the list will then look like…

Person D
Person B moved up a spot because Person D (who was above them on the list) won something and moved to the bottom.
Also note that if you are absent for a raid, your spot on the list stays the same. The list will suicide around you. For example…

How do I figure out my spot on the list?
If at any time you want to find out your spot on the list, please whisper the loot master with the word “suicide” and you will be notified of your place.
